Amarillo Kents Goldings Warrior hops. This is a throwback to the Double IPAs of yesteryear. Akin to a West Coast-style Double IPA. At 85 IBUs, this DIPA packs a bitterness. Don't worry, we did our best to balance out the bitterness with English Caramel malt 'cause after all, isn't life about balance?
An archaic and largely lost style of beer brewed in the more rural Bavarian Forest regions. Brewed exclusvely with barley malt and a hefeweisen yeast strain, Dampfbier is relatively light, malty, and rich in aroma and flavor. Banana esters are required for this style and are pleasantly balanced with a more toasty malt profile leaning heavily on a blend of Munich and Vienna malts. While this brew isn't commonly found commercially, many brewers around the world are starting to revisit this style with great vigor. Bavarian noble hops are important for imparting a clean, subtle, but spicy hop finish.
